{"id":928,"date":"2017-08-14T23:10:29","date_gmt":"2017-08-14T21:10:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lefx.de\/?p=928"},"modified":"2017-08-14T23:10:29","modified_gmt":"2017-08-14T21:10:29","slug":"vrx-sew","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test.lefx.de\/en\/vrx-sew\/","title":{"rendered":"VRX \u2013 SEW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[:de]Entwickelt in Kooperation mit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sonntagsfilm.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sonntagsfilm<\/a> war die Zielsetzung des Projekts &#8222;SEW Overdrive Showcase&#8220; die Nutzung von Virtual-Reality Technologie zur Pr\u00e4sentation und Vermarktung der Produkte und L\u00f6sungen von <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sew-eurodrive.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SEW-Eurodrive<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Professionell vertont in Englisch und Deutsch bietet die Umsetzung eine Tutorial- und \u00dcbungsumgebung, in welcher der Nutzer die einzelnen Interaktionsarten spielerisch kennenlernt, um auch VR-Anf\u00e4ngern eine gute Grundlage f\u00fcr die Navigation in der Hauptanwendung zu erm\u00f6glich. In dieser wurden drei Stationen umgesetzt, an denen Getriebe und ein Segment eines Drehofens unter die Lupe genommen werden k\u00f6nnen. Eine simulierte Explosionszeichnung des 3D-Modelles auf der einen und ein R\u00f6ntgen-\u00e4hnlicher Scanner auf der anderen Seite geben dem Nutzer hierbei Einblicke in den strukturellen Aufbau der Getriebe. Info-Tafeln erweitern diese Erfahrung mit n\u00fctzlichen Fakten. Schlussendlich kann mit Hilfe einer Hebeb\u00fchne das Drehofensegment bestaunt werden, bevor es sich, gedacht als Metapher f\u00fcr die unendlichen M\u00f6glichkeiten der virtuellen Welt, in ein Sternentor verwandelt und den Nutzer auf einen Asteroiden am Rande der Galaxie teleportiert, bevor die Anwendung ins Hauptmen\u00fc zur\u00fcckkehrt und f\u00fcr den n\u00e4chsten Anwender bereitsteht.<\/p>\n<p>Ein gro\u00dfer Fokus dieses Projektes war die nichtlineare Nutzerf\u00fchrung in Verbindung mit begleitender Vertonung f\u00fcr etwaige Unklarheiten. Gedacht als Marketinganwendung f\u00fcr den Messeeinsatz auf Basis der HTC Vive steht nat\u00fcrlich auch hier wieder die grafische Qualit\u00e4t und die komplette Immersion der VR-Anwendung an oberster Stelle.<\/p>\n<p>Musik: <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/arnav\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arnav Srivastava &#8211; Arrival<\/a>[:en]Developed in cooperation with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sonntagsfilm.net\">Sonntagsfilm<\/a>, the aim of the &#8222;SEW Overdrive Showcase&#8220; project was to use virtual reality technology to present and market <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sew-eurodrive.de\">SEW-Eurodrive<\/a> products and solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Professionally set to music in English and German, the implementation offers a tutorial and practice environment in which the user gets to know the individual interaction types in a playful way, so that even VR beginners have a good basis for navigation in the main application. Three stations were implemented in this environment, where gears and a segment of a rotary kiln can be examined under the magnifying glass. A simulated exploded view of the 3D model on the one hand and an X-ray like scanner on the other hand give the user an insight into the structural design of the gearboxes. Information panels enhance this experience with useful facts. Finally, the rotary kiln segment can be marvelled at with the help of a lifting platform, before it is transformed into a stargate, conceived as a metaphor for the infinite possibilities of the virtual world, and teleports the user to an asteroid at the edge of the galaxy, before the application returns to the main menu and is ready for the next user.<\/p>\n<p>A major focus of this project was the non-linear user guidance in combination with accompanying audio for any ambiguities.
