Local Love Story

Auch wenn ein Großteil unserer Kund- und Partner*innen überregional verortet sind, ist uns ein lokales Netzwerk und der Austausch abseits des Daily Business wichtig. Deshalb haben wir bereits 2017 gemeinsam mit Verbündeten von VR BITS, Schenker Technologies und OVRLAB das XR Meetup ins Leben gerufen, welches wir nach einer längeren Pause 2023 wiederbeleben konnten.

Meet the peolpe

Mit unserem XR Meetup haben wir einen Place-to-be für die regionale XR-Bubble geschaffen. Im Rahmen eines zwanglosen Afterworkevents finden informative Vorträge aus allen Bereichen von AR, VR und MR statt. Außerdem kann vor Ort aktuelle Hard- und Software getestet und genetzwerkt werden.

So bringen wir regelmäßig die Akteure der Mitteldeutschen XR- und Gaming-Szene zusammen und sorgen für einen übergreifenden Austausch von Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft.

Aktuell findet das Meetup alle 2-3 Monate im Co-Working-Space Basislager in Leipzig statt. Allerdings ist das Meetup durchaus auf einen mitteldeutschen Kontext ausgelegt und kann zukünftig auch in anderen Städten Station machen. Im Schnitt sind ca. 50 Besucher*innen vor Ort, was auch der Kooperation mit dem Games & XR Mitteldeutschland e. V. zu verdanken ist, in dem wir uns als aktives Mitglied ebenfalls engagieren.

Wir sind begeistert vom Support der regionalen XR-Community und freuen uns, dass die von uns geschaffene Plattform große Akzeptanz findet. Außerdem hoffen wir, das so viele von den Erfahrungen und Perspektiven unserer regionalen Expert*innen profitieren und den Austausch mit Gleichgesinnten genauso schätzen wie wir.

Local Love Story

Even though the majority of our customers and partners are located nationwide, a local network and exchange outside of daily business is important to us. That’s why we launched the XR Meetup back in 2017 together with allies from VR BITS, Schenker Technologies and OVRLAB, which we were able to revive in 2023 after a longer break.

Meet the people

With our XR Meetup, we have created a place to be for the regional XR bubble. Informative presentations from all areas of AR, VR and MR take place as part of an informal after-work event. The latest hardware and software can also be tested and networked on site.

In this way, we regularly bring together the players in the Central German XR and gaming scene and ensure an overarching exchange between science and business.

The Meetup currently takes place every 2-3 months in the Basislager co-working space in Leipzig. However, the Meetup is designed for a Central German context and may also be held in other cities in the future. On average, there are around 50 visitors on site, which is also thanks to the cooperation with Games & XR Mitteldeutschland e. V., of which we are also an active member.
